Mediation in Family cases can save time and money for both parties, and can also ease the stress and heartache of dealing with legal matters at what is already a very sensitive and trying time.

Many people worry that the cost of mediation will be prohibitive, but here at The Mediators we set fixed costs for mediation and can save you money on litigation be dealing with as many issues as possible outside the courtroom.

Our costs are as follows:

  • MIAMs (Mediation Information & Assessment Meeting ) – £95 per person.
  • Mediation Session for one and half hours – £180 per person.
  • Assessment [not MAIMs] plus Mediation Session – £180 per person.

(Any documentation created you will be given a quote before any work is undertaken)

We offer longer Mediation sessions charged on an hourly rate. If you would like to know more please call us at your earliest convenience.

Some points to note:
In the case of Family Mediation, parties are expected to be in the same room unless the mediator deems it necessary to separate them (in which case you will be informed before the event).

In the case of Family Mediation, parties do not acquire a legally binding agreement, but the resulting agreement can be converted into a legally binding one.

In the case of Family Mediation, proceedings will be held at a mutually agreed location.
